Autumn Magic
Autumn Magic This piece features two of my cats, Rusty and Lucky. They're playing with a dichroic glass ball, and each has a gem on his collar. My cats don't wear collars and can't be trusted with gems, so this piece is strictly fantasy. It's acrylic on agate, with onyx and hessonite garnet accents as well as the dichroic cabochon. Triple matted and framed wooden molding that measures 5x7 inches on the inside edge.

Gold Flight
Gold Flight The dragon in this piece wants to be big, but he fits into the confines of a small piece of mahogany obsidian. He's got a treasure in the form of a yellow sapphire, because all dragons must have a treasure. Really, he's much bigger than he seems, you're just viewing him from a safe distance. Acrylic painting, framed in a gold finish wooden frame that measures 5x7 inches on the inside edge.
Iolite Dragon Fly
Iolite Dragon Fly This little fluttering dragon-fly is inspired by the shade of blue of the gem he carries. It's a celebration of iolite blue on blue stone - probably either sodalite or dumotierite, I'm not sure which. He's happily showing off his gem from the safety of his triple matted frame, which is wood with a distressed silver black finish. There's a very slight indentation on the lower right edge of the frame, which measures 5x7 inches on the inside edge.
Moonstone Dragon Flies
Moonstone Dragon Flies Dragon Flies love to flutter about and grab treasure. Once it's grabbed, it must be squabbled over, and there's never enough to go around. Even by moonlight, these little dragons are busy and plundering and flapping and flurrying. This piece is acrylic on stone, sodalite to be specific. The treasures in dispute are rainbow moonstones, iolite and dichroic glass- little stones like moonbeams and certainly worth fighting over. triple matted and framed to 8x10 inches on the frame's inside edge.
Royal Unicorn
Royal Unicorn is a small piece painted in acrylic on dark blue stone, which I've identified as dumortierite. The unicorn that I painted is quite proud of its golden finery, after all, it matches its golden horn. There are two iolites and a blue topaz set on the golden chain. The finished piece is triple matted to match the blue tones in the stone and is shadowbox framed in a golden frame that measures 5x7 inches on the inside edge.
The Garnet Collector
The Garnet Collector is inspired by the dragon-shaped piece of rhodonite it's painted on. Proudly showing off its garnet necklace, it prefers garnet above all other treasures. Triple matted and in an antiqued gold tone wooden frame that measures 5x7 inches on the inner edge.
