Poppy Dancer

Poppy Danceris inspired by a photo taken by my friend robert Torres at a Renaissance Faire. He kindly allowed me to use the pose of the dancer. She's painted on poppy jasper, with the best parts left as natural stone to represent patterned fabric. I enhanced a few to look even more like poppies. She has a Svarovski crystal accent.

The poppy red frame that I chose measures 5 x 7 inches on the inside edge. I added some swirling brass accents to it to carry out the whirling dance theme.
