Protectors of Wisdom: this dragon and tiger duo has a tough job in today's world, but they're up to the task. Acrylic on turkey wing feather, with an amethyst gem standing in for the pearl of wisdom and tanzanite and iolite gems on the tiger's neck chain. Triple matted and presented in a silvered frame. I hammered on the aged brass corner accents to complete the piece with my little hammer, tap tap tapping away like a cobbler and driving everyone nuts. The brown in the brass finish matches the brown in the feather, bringing the piece together. The frame measures 8x10 inches on the inside edge.
